Using this website

The information on this website is general and is not a quotation or an offer. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete or free of errors.

Photos and content

All photos, text and the PL Tilers Ltd logo belong to PL Tilers Ltd unless stated otherwise. Every project photo shows our own work. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. The Tile Association logo is used with its permission.

Quotations and contracts

Every project is quoted in writing after we have seen the job. The written quotation sets out the work, the price, payment stages and the timetable, and together with these terms forms the contract. A quotation is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.

Your rights as a consumer

If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies: we will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time if no date is agreed. If a contract is made at your home or away from our premises, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the work done and materials ordered up to that point. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Materials and site

Where you supply tiles or materials, please check they are suitable, sufficient and undamaged before work starts. We are not responsible for defects in materials we did not supply. Hidden problems found once work starts, such as rotten boards or old leaks, will be explained to you and agreed before any extra work is done.

Insurance

We hold £2 million public liability insurance covering tiling and full bathroom renovations. A copy of the certificate is available on request.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our work, please tell us in writing at info@pl-tilers.co.uk. We will reply within 14 days and do our best to put things right.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
