Our approach

Every stone is different

Natural stone is never uniform. We lay out the pieces before fixing so colour and veining flow, and fix porous and light-coloured stone in white adhesive so nothing stains or shadows through.

Every stone is protected with a suitable long-lasting sealer, such as Lithofin MN Stain-Stop, before and after grouting. Terracotta gets the traditional finish: boiled linseed oil, then wax.

Natural stone needs aftercare, and we explain it to every customer: reseal every few years (busy floors more often) and clean only with stone-safe, pH-neutral products that won’t damage the stone or the seal.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

Straight answers. For anything specific to your project, call 07842 424614 or send an enquiry.

Which natural stones do you install?

Marble, travertine, limestone, sandstone, quartz, slate and flagstones, in all sizes from mosaic to large format, plus terracotta and handmade encaustic tiles.

Does natural stone need sealing and aftercare?

Yes. Most natural stone should be sealed after installation and resealed every few years, more often on busy floors. Clean it only with stone-safe, pH-neutral products, as harsh or acidic cleaners can damage the stone and the seal.
